Windows Server 2019 Administration
This course teaches you to install, configure, and run Windows Server 2019 the way it is used in real organisations. You begin by installing the server and choosing between the full desktop and Server Core, then build a domain from scratch with Active Directory. From there you manage users, groups, and computers, and use Group Policy to control settings across every machine in the network. We cover the core network services a business depends on — DNS and DHCP — along with file sharing, NTFS permissions, and print services. You will also set up virtual machines in Hyper-V, manage servers remotely with PowerShell and RSAT, and practise backup and restore so you can recover from failure. Everything is done in a lab you build yourself, step by step. It is for IT support staff moving into system administration and for students preparing for Microsoft server exams. By the end you will be able to run a small Windows network on your own.
- Install Windows Server 2019 in both Desktop Experience and Server Core, and do the post-install setup
